CHANGE IN PROCEDURE FOR JUDGING BEST OF BREED COMPETITION
Prior to the start of judging, ALL MALES entered in Best of Breed, including Move-ups, Veteran First Place winners, Herding Titled First Place Winner, and Winners Dog will enter the ring to be checked in by the Judge. If assistance is needed to take in your entries for check in that is acceptable because at this time NO judging is being done of the dog.

The Chief Ring Stewart will assign a group number after the judge has finished check-ins. If you have more than one male in the BOB ring, please inform the Ring Steward and you will be assigned a different group number for each entry.

If you are absent from this check-in, you are not eligible to come in later as you will be marked ABSENT in the Judges book.

The same procedure will be done for ALL BITCHES entered in Best of Breed including Move-ups, Veteran First Place Winners, Herding Titled First Place Winner, and Winners Bitch, following completion of the Male judging.

In the event that an individual should make the cut with more than one exhibit it is their responsibility to have alternate handlers available for their entries (as would occur under normal judging procedures).

HERDING TITLED DOG and HERDING TITLED BITCH CLASSES
For any Cardigan Welsh Corgi over 6 months of age that has acquired an AKC Herding title of record will be eligible for this class The winner of these classes will be eligible to compete for Best of Breed. Altered dogs or spayed bitches may NOT be exhibited in this Class.

If entered in this class they may NOT be exhibited in BOB if they are defeated in the Herding Titled non-regular class. Instinct tests are a certificate, NOT a title and therefore do not qualify a dog for the class.

Altered dogs or spayed bitches may NOT be exhibited in any non-regular class EXCEPT Veterans in an independent specialty.
