CWCCA Versatility/Versatility Excellent Recognition Program

Below is a preliminary draft of proposed changes to the CWCCA Versatility/Versatility Excellent Program for review.  Please look it over and send comments to Susan Stephon at KStephon@msn.com  by September 1, 2008.  All comments and suggestions are welcome and will be forwarded to the CWCCA Awards and Performance Committee Chairs for consideration.  Thank you.

These awards are earned on a point system. Points earned in each category are not cumulative. Points will be credited for the higest title achieved in each area. Owners are responsible for submitting this application to the Awards Chairperson.

VC Requirements: Cardigan must have earned AKC titles in at least 3 of the 5 areas (conformation, obedience, tracking, herding, agility), with at least 6 points in a single area, earning a total of not less than 14 points.
Points are NOT cumulative.
           
VCX Requirements: Cardigan must have earned AKC titles in at least 3 of the 5 areas (conformation, obedience, tracking, herding, agility), with at least 9 points in one area plus 6 points in a second area, and earning a total of not less than 19 points.
Points are NOT cumulative.
